Research Focus
Our laboratory is interested in understanding the mechanisms regulating reproductive physiology and toxicological responses using translational animal models. We investigate how endogenous signaling pathways, environmental toxicants, and pharmacological interventions influence uterine function, ovarian physiology, and reproductive outcomes. By integrating laboratory animal models, our research aims to advance reproductive health, improve preclinical safety assessment, and facilitate the development of safer therapeutic strategies.
Research Interest
- Pharmacokinetics studies of various drugs on different animals by using HPLC Analysis.
- Estimation of heavy metals in biological samples by using Atomic Absorption Spectrometer (AAS).
- Toxicodynamic studies of various metals on smooth muscle using organ bath and Data Acquisition System (DAS) based poly physiograph.
- Breeding and maintenance of the Animal House facility according to CPCSEA Guidelines, Maintenance of the Immune-compromised Animal Facility and their experimentation.
